Corpse hands for me! Too lavender toned for me to pull this one off unfortunately looks a gorgeous muted mauve taupey pink in the bottle but the grey really pulls on my colouring. Nice formula not too fast drying though, opaque and chips rather easily but the shade itself is gorgeous if you can pull it off definitely one for cool toned girls, I am pale but very yellow toned.

I bought this and thought that this would be one of the run of the mill nude/mauvey colours.

I bought this and thought that this would be one of the run of the mill nude/mauvey colours. Wrong! The colour is even more beautiful when applied. It has a muted pink finish. And the opacity? One coat could do it all. Yup you heard me. But a second coat gives a richer look. The shade appears to be a bit darker when applied as compared to the bottle. It has a creme finish and the lasting power is great too. I'm not one to follow collections but its seems as though the CG-Hunger Games Collection 2012 had some amazing shades. I'm stumbled across some other shades in the collection and they are beyond gorgeous. I'd suggest hunting them down because they're not part of the permanent line.

I guess I am ready for fall to be here as I grabbed this pretty caramel shade and applied it even though it is 96*F outside and still hot hot hot summer. This is from the Hunger Games collection that was released fall of 2012 when the movie debuted. I've seen swatches of this and it looks dusty rose and pink toned in photos but my bottle and the shade on my nails is a light brown coffee with cream shade. It does lean a bit pink but I wouldn't classify it as "pink" and I actually had it stored with my tans and light brown shades. On my fair skin even with my tan this looks the color of caramel. This is a nice neutral and would be office friendly and it will match any outfit. This formula is a thin polish but it has good coverage and was fully opaque and ready for a topcoat with only 2 coats. I ended up not adding a topcoat though as this dried really shiny all on it's own and didn't need it. There was no streaking or balding with application and no pooling or flooding either. This formula was wonderful to work with and the brush is a nice thin long standard brush and fans out nicely for application. This is a nice neutral and is perfect for wear year 'round. It's a nice change up from the vivid neons and pool party colors. While I am loving this pretty caramel shade, it is a bit boring on my nails and I can see some nail art to dress it up or maybe a gradient effect. It needs a little something as it looks too blah on my skin all by itself.

This nail polish is one of my favorites.

This nail polish is one of my favorites. I'm actually surprised there are so few reviews about it! On my very fair skin it's definitely not a nude, but a very beautiful rose shade with lots of mauve undertones. At least on me, it's much less pink-ish than what you see in some online swatches. The application was ok. The only issue was that, when I was applying the second coat, the polish didn't seem to even out! So I had to go for way thicker coats than usual, which caused it to take forever to dry. The thin brush is really good to control, however.I had it for 4 days and only got some minimal tipwear.

I am not usually one to gravitate to browns or taupes for my nails, but this little gem surprised me! The color is a cool toned taupey color with purpley undertones to it. It wasn't a polish I had ever seen before, so the fact it was more unique may have drawn me to it. Or the fact that it was 4 dollars at Ulta xDThis is my first China Glaze polish and I am very impressed with both opacity of the color within the first coat and the lack of chipping!Very impressed!
