Love this color. The purple with the red undertone and glitter suits me very well. I liked the application and wear. I wish ChG had more n/ps like this, it's a winner!!!

Alone it is not a good product at all. Too sheer. I did find that I could layer it over other colors to change their appearance in a favorable way. This product is similar to a product I previously used from Maybelline called Grape Water as well as Essie's Burgandy Syrup. I would recommend this product for layering.

I so looked forward to this. In the bottle it appears as a deep dark plum, that almost appears black. NOPE! First coat was a very sheer mauve. Second coat was a streaky wine. Third coat was an almost opaque wine. Super pretty color, but I've got 3 just like it, that are opaque & I don't have to apply 3 coats from OPI! I am not the largest fan of China Glaze at this point. The first polish I tried from them peeled like crazy, and now this? WTH? I can say the shine is pretty, but I use a top coat that adds lots of shine, so it's not really necessary for me. I did get this on clearance for $1.50 so I can't complain too much though! ;o)

Once the warm weather hits I very rarely wear vampy shades on tips or toes, but I recently received Dripping Wet in an order and given the crappy weather and my crappy mood, wearing a deep vampy shade on my toes just seemed apropos.Doing my tips and toes is a soothing beauty ritual for me and I was really looking forward to painting my toes in what looked like in the bottle a rich blackened plum creme. Instead the entire painting process left me in more sour mood because of the time I wasted on trying to get this polish to work and have a uniform finish. Grrrr… I should have known from the first super sheer coat this was going to take some work and patience, but four coats later and still an uneven (sheer in some spots, opaque in others) pedicure. And the “finished” shade wasn't nearly as deep as in the bottle Âdeep plum, but not as blackened as in the bottle. This is a pretty awesome color.Steppin' Out is a very metallic, heavily sparkled pink-plum. It leans more towards the plum side of things and has a defniite purple cast to it. What makes it interesting is the vast amount of sparkle in it it has some corresponding purple/plum glitter, but it also has a lot of silvery sparkle too. The effect is this super-sparkled medium plum that almost has a metallic sheen. It's gorgeous.Bonus points : this is almost totally opaque on one coat, completely opaque on 2, unlike some China Glaze polishes. However, this one seems a little more chip-prone than others, which is a little disappointing. I'm still going to rock it though because it's so pretty. continued >>
