This polish is from the 2015 Great Outdoors collection. In the bottle, this deep, somewhat muted blue has a very noticeable magenta shimmer. On the nail, unfortunately, that shimmer is barely perceptible, if at all, so this just ends up being a dark, muted blue, though in some light it looks very slightly purpleish.Formula is very nice, quite smooth, great opacity. Could be a one-coater, in fact. I can't say what the wear time is like because I didn't keep it on very long, as I was pretty disappointed with it. The thing is, I have plenty of deep blues, deep muted blues, nearly-black blues, blues with shimmer, etc. I picked this up because of the magenta shimmer, which I thought would make it stand apart, but it really doesn't. Even in quite direct light, the shimmer is next to invisible (tiny sparks of it may show if you're really, really looking for it). So, bleah. Another dark, muted blue. Didn't need one, wouldn't have bought this if I'd known just how hidden (i.e., nearly invisible) the shimmer is. I kind of hate to give away a polish from a brand new collection, but I can't see myself wearing this, unfortunately. If you don't have any deep, muted blues and you want one with great formula and maybe, theoretically, a subtle magenta shimmer (I have seen swatches where the shimmer is visible, so I know it's possible; I just couldn't see it no matter what I did; admittedly, I didn't go into full sunlight because it was overcast for weeks when I was testing/wearing this polish), I can say this is a lovely polish to work with and you could do worse. For me, meh. I'll still give it three lippies for the excellent formula and because my expectations may just be too high or I may just have too many deep blue polishes to fully appreciate this one.
