Number 17 is my favorite of the Sebastian Signs perfume oils, but they are all great.

Number 17 is my favorite of the Sebastian Signs perfume oils, but they are all great. The notes are raspberry (which I do not smell at all), chocolate, vanilla, sandalwood, and nag champa. I can not stop sniffing my wrist when I am wearing it. My husband liked it so much he asked where I got it so he can buy me more when it runs out. I think 17 smells sexy, and I am glad that it stays close to your skin. This is something that a person sitting next to you might not notice, but if someone leans in close they will get a delighful suprise.I also love the cut bottle. This is what I keep in my purse at all times in case I need a pick me up. I also highly reommend the Sebastian SIgns soaps with matching fragrances.

I was actually lucky enough to get generous samples of all three scents #17, 35, & 44.

I was actually lucky enough to get generous samples of all three scents #17, 35, & 44. My favorite is the #17. It doesn't smell synthetic to me at all. I really like the notes overall and the scent is yummy and warm. It lasted on me and the fact that it's an oil perfume is even better. I actually got several compliments when I wore this. According to the site this is the actual description for #17:"Contains top notes of fresh raspberry, moving into a body of dark chocolate. No. 17 dries down to an intoxicating veil of sandalwood and vanilla absolute ... and don't be surprised if you detect a note evocative of Nag Champa incense". To be honest I didn't smell any raspberry at all but that was fine w/me I don't really like fruity scents. I did really notice the chocolate and vanilla in it which seem to be the stronger notes and overall my favorite notes. I recommend this as a winter scent b/c it's a warm cozy scent. If you want to try it why not go to the site www.sebastiansigns.com and see if there are any samples available. You may be pleasantly surprised.

This is really nice.

This is really nice. Right out of the bottle, it's a very chocolatey-gourmand scent, but the chocolate note dies down a bit after a while. There's also a bit of incense, nag champa, I think, which gives it a slightly smokey quality that's a nice balance to the sweetness. I don't know if it's actually in there or not, but I smell a slight tea note. Regardless, I really like this. I've been test-driving it today and have to keep sniffing the back of my hand. It's a really soft skin scent, one that I definitely see as FBW.

Sebastian Signs #17 perfume oil was an unsniffed purchase for me, something I don't try to do too...

Sebastian Signs #17 perfume oil was an unsniffed purchase for me, something I don't try to do too often. Unfortunately, it is not a winner for me. The perfume oil comes in a roll-on, and costs about $45. I just received it today, and am pretty disappointed in it. First of all, I have to put a ton on to even smell the scent. It's a perfume oil, so it's supposed to last much longer than an EDP. But it doesn't. And then, the scent: I don't smell anything but sandalwood and vanilla, but mostly a fake-smelling woody sandalwood. I don't smell ANY raspberry, hardly any chocolate or vanilla. No. 17 reminds me of Annick Goutal Vanille Exquise for some reason. Not completetly, but it's got something similar, maybe the woody chemical-smelling vanilla. It smells really clean in a weird way. Not a very sweet and gourmand perfume, which may suit some people better than it suits me. Not my thing. I love vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, and I'm throroughly disappointed to find these notes not very prominent. And the poor lasting power. Not happy. But, I will wear it because it's not awful, just not what I was hoping for. You live and learn, at least when it comes to buying untried products. Try this one if you can, before you buy it. Notes: vanilla, raspberry, chocolate, and sandalwood.
