Okay, so I have this weird obsession with green sparkly things; there is this pair of sparkly green high heels that I hope to make mine some day. For now, this polish will have to suffice. And it's awesome, so that's ok. Mmmhmm. For now. But man oh man, those shoes....ANYWAY. This is a lovely, very glam shade. You do have to put a good 2-3 coats on to make it really pop, but it's totally worth it when you're done. The only reason I took away a lippie is because it's one of those shades that's sort of a bitch to get off when it eventually starts chipping. LOVE the color, hate the upkeep, lol
After 4 coats, this is a pretty deep emerald green jelly with true emerald green microsparkle. Most darker green nail polishes seem to be blue-toned, but this one is really a true green, like grass and emeralds. I got multiple compliments on this while I was out, and also some guy who attempted to solicit my services as a prostitute, so this is definitely an attention-getter! My main issue is that having to pile on so many coats leads to poor lasting power, so it's a pretty high-maintenance look. The consistency isn't too runny, and the brush is the perfect medium size and thickness for fingernails. The brush picks up a lot of polish, though, so it's tricky to use. Altogether, this is a very worthwhile shade for anyone who likes greens, deep colours or both. US$3.50 @ Cherry Culture.
Gorgeous color. Needs AT LEAST three coats for the rich green color in picture. Chips on me after a few days. I bought this and a pretty pink at the same time, and the same was true for both. I might buy this shade again, but would probably hesitate with other shades in NYX polish line.
LOVE IT. what else do i need to say? besides china glaze recycle and OPI my private jet this is one of my favorite polishes ever. it's just perfection in a bottle. seriously. i need about 1,000,000 backups.
I bought this polish on an impulse buy at a local clothing store (I paid $3.99) and I'm very pleased with my purchase! The color is a deep forest green with smooth green sparkles (no coarseness here) that looks beautiful when layered. My one problem with this polish is that it takes at least three coats to get the gorgeous shade in the bottle. Normally I am lazy and skimp with extra coats, but that is impossible with this color as just one or two looks streaky, uneven, and kind of gross. I am going to try layering this over a darker color (maybe another dark green or black) and see if that helps, but I'm willing to put on a minimum of three coats if it means I get such a pretty holiday sparkle!
