I'm really disappointed with Ella Bache. Not just their products but their service. My skin dramatically changed after becoming a mum and it became hard to find a product that didn't make my already naturally oily skin just break out into a shine festival and become red raw after using different supermarket brands cleansers, moisturisers and exfoliators that my skin was use to before my pregnancy. In desperate need of help and advice I forked up the $100's of dollars to see the girls at Ella Bache and buy the products they suggested but it didn't help at all. One of the products they told me to buy was the velvet smooth moisturiser along with their savon adoucissant cleanser. While the cleansers added fragrance dried my skin out and made it feel tight, the greasy heavy thick moisturiser designed for very dry skin just made my skin so slick and oily within minutes. My skin didn't absorb it no matter how much or little I put on, and it just left a greasy film on my skin which my primer or foundation wouldn't stick to. Everyday my skin dripped in oil and it looked sad and dull. I couldn't keep makeup on my face at all and my pores got so big due to the overproduction of oil on top of the oil based moisturiser that I went back to have my skin reassessed, telling them I didn't think the products were working. They just shoved another collection of products towards me to buy and being so desperate and naive, I spent another $300 on products to use on top of the cleanser and moisturiser and had the exact same problem. Eventually on my third visit they told me to not use this moisturiser anymore because my skin type wasn't correct for it and when I asked for a refund I got told no which was the biggest disappointment. I still get my eyebrows and eyelashes done there which they could of added credit to but they didn't. After doing extensive research myself I found many products out their that I now use and my skin is looking so much better.
