Hot Spot is one of my favorite summer polish colors of all time.

Hot Spot is one of my favorite summer polish colors of all time. On me (yellow-toned NC25), Hot Spot is a pinky coral red. I don't see any orange tones, either in the bottle or when applied to my nails. I pulled out Essie Clambake, which is definitely orange red, for reference and I can see that Hot Spot has quite a bit more pink. Hot Spot looks downright pink when compared to my absolute favorite orange red, BB Couture Poppy Passion. Hot Spot is not a true jelly but it's also a touch more transluscent than a creme. Three coats is perfect for me.

deep berry toned red in what I would say is a jelly base, with red and silver glitter.

deep berry toned red in what I would say is a jelly base, with red and silver glitter. I love this color, but the application is streaky (usually happens with most jellies). Takes about 3 coats of mindful application to even out.The color is really beautiful. It can tend to look a little flat when all is said and done, but it comes right back to life with a good top coat.It also looks great over dark cremes!

Beautiful color but is very streaky.

Beautiful color but is very streaky. I actually like the color with two thin coats but need to apply a 3rd coat cuz it's so streaky. Then it looks almost black and you can't even see the nice glitters.

    Nice deep red/burgundy.

Nice deep red/burgundy... Essie quality. Too bad I don't like glitter (and this one has some serious sparkle), so I don't use it too often.

This is a lovely deep red with glitter in it (which only appeared when I put the second coat on).

This is a lovely deep red with glitter in it (which only appeared when I put the second coat on). I feel like ana dult with it on! Haha it's a very pretty shade, glitter and all.
