I'm not sure what Essie were thinking with this one. Actually, I'll be fair. Back in 2007 when this one came out, nude polishes were just starting out, we wore pinks and pearls and the few new nudes on the market were like this, a yellow beige. Fast forward 9 years and this is dated. Its a yellowy caramel nude, not for everyone's skin tone and with all the different types of nudes out there on the market these days, its dated. So the colour, unless you want a yellowish caramel sorta colour, you may want to pass on this one.Formula three thin coats, streaky, prone to balding if you overwork it, difficult to apply, its the older type of Essie, definitely not a one coater and definitely for those who will accept it that its a finicky thing.However, my bottle probably is 9 years old now and the formula is probably the same as it was when it first appeared on the market. None of this 'throw out your polish after 12 months' rubbish with this baby. So not my favourite nude. Not the most flattering colour on me. Difficult polish to work with. Its a nail polish historical anomaly. Probably something you may want to pass on.

Nude beach is a beige-nude sheer with a hint of golden-green micro-shimmer. Natural and clean looking great for a summer mani on my PPP skin. NOT PINK. More beige/peach.

This is such a gorgeous color! One of Essies best. Pink, sweet, girly, would complement any skin tone.

This is a very pretty shade for summer! No, it doesn't have the "kick" of juiced-up corals and berries, nor does it have the edge of bolder, neon shades. However, if you're looking for a great pinky-sheer color with a summery sheen, this is IT! Nude Beach has a "mother-of-pearl" feel to it; it's a sheer, glowy pink (YNBB) but with an iridescent, light-teal/gold glimmer to it (just like the inside of a seashell). It plays wonderfully off of tan skin and it's a fresh, subtle way to wear shimmer and incorporate punchy color and a pearlescent sheen. I wear two coats of this when I want a subtle, glowy, summery sheen to my manicure or pedicure.

I found this in a clearance basket at Target. What a find! This is now my go-to polish for those times when I want a finished look to my manicure that has a little kick, but I don't want to go with a full blown color.This is a very sheer, nude pink color with a slight greenish gold shimmer. Took off one lippie because it seems a little streaky. This is with a base coat, two color coats and a top coat. It seems to wear well. Since it's a sheer, I don't pay as much attention to, nor do I care as much about, chips, etc.
