I heard this was discontinued, such a shame! One of the prettiest nudes, with a perfect shimmer.

Virgin Orchid is a really pretty slightly shimmery pink with coral undertones. It's actually a very unique shade. Go for this if cool, purple-based pinks don't work for you. I think this can work on both cool and warm skintones. The texture and coverage are great, and wear is average to above-average. I just wish Essie would come out with a wider brush.

When I got this in the mail a while ago, I thought they had sent me the wrong one, because the color was much lighter than I expected it to be. Needless to say, I LOVE this polish. I thought I would despise it, because Essie's formulation of their paler colors leave a lot to be desired, but this is an exception. It looks translucent and very sheer in the bottle, but this actually covers the nail with a good opacity in just two coats, minus the streaks, and (gasp!) bald spots! Application on this was verrry smooth and effortless. Other reviews had the color description spot on: but I'm not seeing any purple/lilac tones everyone else seems to be seeing? I just see a feminine, angelic crystal pale nude pink with gold shimmer, not leaning too warm nor cool...it would probably be best to wear this over a basecoat (which I tend to do with any light or sheer polish, so that the color of my natural nail won't peek through, and I can apply less coats of the polish for a better effect). This stuff wears like iron, too! Haven't worn this on my toes yet, as I like brighter colors on my toes. This is one of those polishes that I enjoy so much, I might just consider wearing it on my wedding day (whenever that will be!). :)EDIT 10/12/13: Looks like I'll have to stock up on this on a wholesale retailer website before it's discontinued there as well. Brands always have to discontinue the best. *sigh*

This color doesn't work with my skin tone, thus it is going to the back of the shelf. Others have described the color accurately, and it's a pretty color, just doesn't work with my fair, pink skintone.

This is one of my favorite nail polishes. It is a warm light pink with gold duo-chrome. I don't find that it applies streaky and tends to last longer than other polishes even without a top coat.
