This matte lip cream goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. It is formulated to last you all day and keep your lips moisturized.
I thought this shade was going to be a vampy wine shade based on it's appearance in the packaging, instead it is bright magenta (should have tried it on first lol). It's still pretty, just not what I was looking for. I liked the consistency initially: it goes on thin and is easy to apply. However, about an hour later I looked in the mirror and it had dried out pretty badly. I had purple flecks of dry skin on my lips (not cute!). This could maybe be avoided with applying a balm first, or maybe a lip gloss over it. I wouldn't buy this again, but if you want a bold lip shade, this one is pretty good for the price.
Not as patchy and streaky as Transylvania but pretty sheer. It is a nice color but not exactly what I would call matte.
One of my favorite lip products! I'm a big fan of Nyx's line of matte lip creams and this one is my favorite shade. Great to apply and lasts very well. Went to the gym straight from the my office job and it didn't budge! Just a bit drying though, so make sure you exfoliate and apply lip balm before use.
I love the soft matte lip creams. They dry nice and don't budge although there may be a little bit of transfer depending on what you do. This one is just one of my favourite colours. Its the perfect dark red burgundy and can be made lighter or darker if you put a lip colour under it first. The packaging is nice but fragile. The price was decent but it would be nice if it were a couple dollars cheaper. It smells just like vanilla cake as the others do and overall i think its a great product!
I really wanted to like this product. The color is stunning and the staying power and smell are great. But it applies patchy, and I can't seem to get more than one even coat. It also starts to peel and dry out my lips pretty soon after it dries. If you want a matte lippie in a similar color, I would recommend Wet n' Wild's Cherry Bomb.
