I used to love mousse back in the 80's and 90's. I decided to try mousse again recently, and have tried a few brands, this being one of them. The good I can say, is, there is hardly any scent, maybe just a mild clean type of scent, so no worries about heavy scent with this. It is very creamy. But it makes my hair heavy and flat and even looks greasy. I do not use a lot of product, one quick pump, and I rub about the size of a golf ball between the palms of my hands and lightly distribute this, starting at the roots, and working down to my ends, and my hair is quite long. So I do not know why it does that for me. But it feels and looks like I rubbed major baby oil all through my hair. I love pretty much all Sebastian products i have ever tried, but this one..no thank you. And my hair is not even thin nor fine, it is pretty average. Maybe I got a bad bottle, I guess any thing is possible. But I bought this brand-new from Cosmoprof, so I doubt it is old or anything. But this actually makes my hair look thinner than it is. Weird product. I would not recommend and will definitely not repurchase. May give this away to someone, might just toss this. I wish it worked for me, because I appreciate the very minimal clean type of scent.
Ok this is my holy grail mousse. I have short, relaxed pixie cut hair and I use it to mold before drying and flat ironing. My hair is shiny and conditioned. I love it. I just love it.
This product isn't bad, but I am still left without any kind of wave or curl (which is par for the course with my straight/fine hair.) I do like it, however, because it does give my hair some weightless body and volume. I only gave it 4 stars due to it's inability to provide me with actual waves, but that might just be the plight of my hair.
