Although I needed another Essie gray polish like I need another hole in my head I had been eyeing this color for months and finally purchased it. I already own chincilly, petal pushers and lady like which of course are all completely different colors but all have a gray tone to them. Master plan is now my favorite gray and is tied with lady like as my favorite nude type polish. I have fair cool skin so I don't care for typical nude colors as I haven't found one that doesn't look horrible on me. Both lady like and master plan are nice soft neutral colors that compliment my skin tone and match whatever I wear. Lady like has a lot more rose tones while master plan is a neutral dove gray. Almost allowed of the Essie polishes I own require 3 coats to get a nice even color however 2 coats of master plan was all I needed. Used sally hansen disco ball as a top coat on my ring fingers and I can't stop admiring my nails. Topped with Seche Vite it looks amazing.

One of my go-to polishes for fall/winter! I had been on the hunt for a nice neutral gray, and I could not be happier to have found this color! It is a great shade for a variety of skin tones because it contains cool tones and warm tones. It applies beautifully and easily. It is glossy, but not overwhelmingly glossy (I tend to prefer matte over glossy). Two coats does the job just fine, but you can do three for better color pigmentation and it doesn't look/apply too thick! Great color and formula Essie!

This is a awesome light grey with a touch of taupe in it.

This is a awesome light grey with a touch of taupe in it. Love that is is a warm grey with no blue undertones. Most greys always tend too look bluish on me. Application was almost perfect. I'am wearing this color to transition from summer to fall. Update: wore it for a day and turned out looked dull on my skin. Hard to tell but once I got to work under those bright lights it did not look good on my skin! My co workers said it was not my best color.... Too dull and had too much brown undertones. Think it would look better on a real pale skin. Bummed... I tried the greige thing! I think Chinchilly may look better! Will try that tomorrow. After wearing it again i love it!!! Very classy grey. I guess the lights at work don't compliment it but the color is stunning! I think I had a off bottle because this is stunning or maybe because my hand are much more pale now that fall/ winter is her!!! In love!! Update: 2/27/16. Now iam wearing this to transform from winter to spring! Put a bit of Essie silver glitter on ring finger nails and who la! Beautiful!! Loving it again!

So I bought my second bottle after I threw out the first as I had it for some time and it was drying/it didn't look like something I would wear...until one day I passed by it at my local Wal-Mart and fell in love with it all over again! It's a beautiful taupe-y grey that I see myself wearing all year round. It is a seasonless color. Also, application with this color is wonderful! It dries fast, doesn't bubble, is super shiny, and opaque after two coats. Looks great on short nails...it's chic and elegant :)

I adore this color.

I adore this color. A true grey, it doesn't lean too warm or cool toned. I'm partial to greys in general, but I love this shade on my nails and I probably get more compliments on it than most other polishes I wear. I think it's very classy, chic, and versatile. That being said, I hate the formula!! I don't usually use Essie I'm a bit of an OPI snob but I use Master Plan because I like the shade so much. So I'm not sure if Essie is always like this or it's just Master Plan, but the formula dries in the bottle really quickly (and I keep it screwed tightly shut) and becomes so thick and goopy, it's impossible to paint it on evenly. I thought maybe I had a bad bottle when it turned goopy after a couple months, so I bought another one but it did the same thing. Seche polish thinner has somewhat restored my latest bottle, but I have to add much more thinner to it than I usually do to polish, and it's already starting to dry out again. I don't think I'll buy a third time *sigh* I'm on the hunt for a similar shade by OPI...I think French Quarter For Your Thoughts might be my man.
