I had been lemming this colour for a long time, when a lovely person ended up finding it an sending it to me. I was a little nervous about how it would perform after seeing the low rating it has on here, but I was actually very happy with how it looked and applied so I'm surprised so many had bad experiences with Chillato. Chillato is a very unique shade which certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea. It is a pale shade of banana yellow. On my NC15 skin it doesn't pull at all green, staying a pastel yellow shade. I had no issues with the formula, it applied easily with no streaks or patches and was fully opaque in two coats. It dried quickly and to a shiny finish, and lasts around 5 days when paired with base and top coat. I can see why some may struggle with this colour, it is definitely unique, and I personally believe it looks better against warmer skin tones than cooler ones. If you have warm skin and want to try a unique pastel shade for the spring or summer, I can definitely recommend this one just be ready for something a bit different.

I love essie nail polish. This one fails to meet the standard of what I think of my essie polish. It is a pale baby poo green, not what the bottle shows, and is an extremely extremely thin polish. It took four coats on my nails to make it opaque and after 5 you could still see uneven places. Definitely not worth the buy.

I love this color because it is very uniquea very pale pastel yellow green. It reads as a cool yellow with a green undertone on my skin. Although I am fair, my skin has an olive undertone and I get a slight tan on my hands and feet without trying. I love white and light pastels because they look so feminine and elegant when you have a tan or you have a naturally deeper skin tone. This color is super flattering but the formula is a PITA. It requires 3 coats for opacity but I am used to this because I love the look of white and yellow polish. Once you get it on, it's gorgeous. Trust me.

I required 3 good coats to get an ok finish & even then it still looked quite streaky.Its a great spring/summer colour which Im sure will look better on tanned skin rather than my near white winter shade at the moment.Its not a bad buy, just a disappointing finish once dry.

What can I say? I love this nail polish! I've recently been on the hunt for a new summer nail colour and when I heard about the new essie summer collection I knew I just had to have them. I saw them around at every drugstore but could never bring myself to purchase one (because of the $10 price which I wasn't willing to spend at those exact moments) but I finally picked one up (maybe because it was on sale for $7.99, oops.) I've yet to get the rest of the colours but I'm determined to get them all because they're just so beautiful. This colour is the greenish yellowish colour in the collection and is absolutely fantastic!! The only bad thing I have to say about this polish isn't really about the polish more so the "packaging" if thats the word you'd use, I'm not a fan of the essie brushes, I find them difficult to use but thats just me. Other than that I love it! I'm trying something new so everything you need to know about this polish is below. *Does is last long? Yes! It lasted me a good two weeks before it stared to really chip, of course it chipped a little like every nail polish does. *How was the application? It went on so smooth and in such an even layer, i love it*How did it smell? It smells like normal nail polish but it isn't too over powering/overwhelming which is another thing i love about essie nail polishes.*Pigementation? The pigmentation of the product is amazing. It gives off such vibrant colour and looks the same on my nails as it does in the bottle, unlike other polishes that look great in the bottle but when you paint it on it's either almost clear or not exactly the colour you were hoping for. I highly recommend this polish to anyone looking for a good quality summer nail colour!!!
