My 12 (almost 13) year old daughter picked this out as a gel color for a summer mani and it was/is very flattering against her MMM skin. A taupe/beige/nude that is very wearable. We had no issues with a 2 coat application. Versatile, pretty, neutral and easy to wear. Came out in 2017.
Coconuts over OPI is a polish from OPI's spring 2017 Fiji collection. It's a beautiful, sophisticated shade of greige (between grey and beige) which is somewhat similar to Taupe-less Beach from OPI's 2014 Brazil collection, but TB is darker and cooler than COOPI, which has more of a warm, yellow undertone. Application was okay the first coat went on a bit patchy, but the second one evened it out.
Surprisingly flattering color that looks dull and common in a bottle. Bought this as an impulse buy at TJMaxx, only to hide it away. Six months later, when looking for a pale color, I found this bottle and put it on. Wow! 1-2 coats looks really streaky, but 4 coats gives it this opaque, super-shiny, gel-like finish that looked very professional and polish. Lasted on me a full week without a base and top coast and it is not a color I got bored with (IMO, I don't look that great in "Bubble Bath"). I have NC30 skintone and it is the best whitish shade without being too sheer, too bright, and has a slight hint of gray and blue that keeps it from being flat. The frost is glossy and not metal-foil-likein other words, it's not the type that looks like streaky, metallic ridges like so many silvery polishes fall victim to.
I'm a loyal OPI girl, but I was absolutely shocked when I saw this color on my cousin's fingers and realized I had never heard of it! I immediately went out and bought it, though I was skeptical of how it would look on me. Turns out, I absolutely love the outcome! In the bottle, t's a very soft gray with an iridescence. On my fingers, there's a very subtle hint of blue, and in some lights, lavender. I'd consider it a very blue-tones dove gray. In my opinion, it's the perfect neutral for when you don't feel like a soft pink or nude. It's a 3-4 coater, which isn't my favorite attribute about this polish, but it isn't a deal breaker. I would absolutely repurchase. OPI never disappoints!
Gorgeous color! This is my most used OPI polish. It is such a unique color. Kind of hard to describeit's like a creamy light grey/blue that can have a bit of a lavender tint in some lights. It has a soft but not too noticeable shimmer. Not glittery at all but more of a pearl finish. It makes my nails look so polished and it is such a versatile shade because it is fairly neutral. Usually I have to build this up to 3 coats for the desired opacity. Then the color really comes through, otherwise one or 2 coats will give you a transparent, pearly finish. I just prefer the look of several coats. Not the cheapest polish out there, I think I paid around $8.50 for it but it is so worth it! Rarely do I fall in love with a polish color so I often end up taking colors back but this one I will repurchase over and over again!
