this is the 1st orly polish that i owned.its a very pretty color, dark brown with a hint of shimmer but the drying time was way tooo horrible.i apply 3 coats 2 hours before sleep & yet i woke up with sheet marks...
I'm generally not a huge fan of Orly ... but Take Him to the Cleaners is total hotness in a bottle! This shade is a very rich and incredibly sexy deep bronze/brown with almost a deep taupe undertone and gorgeous shimmer. Two coats of this is vamp-tastic goodness and looks incredibly sultry and deep, but doesn't look black like most dark/vampy shades do. This is a stunner on tips or toes, and totally perfect for fall and winter months!
WOW...my 1st Orly's experience..and falling head-over-heels in love w/ this color! But..i guess based on the previous reviews it's a hit or miss shade....so try it if u can b4 u buy it! Staying power was awesome...lasted + 2 wks on my toes....and I wore open toed shoes/sandals during summer. Asian NC30.
Take Him to the Cleaners is one of the rare Orlys that I just don't like much, despite its popularity and cute name. From the pictures I'd seen of it and from the bottle I expected it to be a warm, shimmery red-brown, but much to my surprise it was actually a much darker, cooler-toned brown with a gray or ashy cast and barely any shimmer. Well, no thanks, that's not was I was hoping for. The application was fine but the color was too much of a disappointment. It's great if you want a deep, cool-toned brown, but I couldn't get over the ashy cast and the almost-black look in all but full sunlight.
I received this gorgeous shade in a swap and I couldn't be happier. I'm new to vampy shades, so maybe there are better ones out there, but I love this one and can see myself using it again and again. A raisin-y, black-y shade with lots of sparkle. Love it.
