I'm a big fan of glitter polishes, and of dark polishes, so I thought this was going to be something I loved. Turns out I don't. I don't hate it, but it's one of those polishes that looks much nicer in the bottle than on the nail. This has a black base, and it's fairly well loaded with medium-to-large round prismatic glitter. In the bottle, the glitter shows all kinds of colours, with pink, green, and blue being predominant. On the nail, however, the glitter kind of gets lost in the dark base. It reminds me rather unpleasantly of glitter embedded in tar. The dry surface is quite rough, and a single coat of standard topcoat is not enough to smooth it out. It's also a little difficult to apply, and takes a fair bit of pushing and pulling to get even coverage, though it is very opaque, even with one coat. Next time I wear this, I'll be using it with black undies (to make up for the difficulty in application) and doing a thick top coat with quick dry top coat over that, to try to smooth it out. I think it would look a lot better that way, though the extra top coat will make the removal, which is already a pain in the neck as most heavy glitter polishes are, even more annoying. Overall, I have to say this is a pretty uninspiring polish. It's weird, but not in a good way (unless you like glitter in tar). I do suspect it depends on what you like, how much you dislike lumpy surfaces (I like textured surfaces, but only if they're meant to be textured, and not if it's just a weird formulation like this has), and how much you care that your glitter is overwhelmed by the dark base. I haven't given up on this one, as I think it does have potential, but for the moment, I just feel pretty meh about the whole thing.
