China Glaze - Tarnished Gold 0.5 oz - #80761

China Glaze's Tarnished and Varnished is one of the rare corals that actually looks good with my skin tone (very pale!). It's pinkier than I expected, but it has a definitely orange tint. This is one hot color from the Martini Pedicure collection, it's the pinky coral of the lot. The other colors are Martini Pedicure (blue), Sass in a Glass (red), 3 Martini Lunch (orange coral), Straight Up, (white), and Shaken Not Stirred (bright pastel purple). I got this on clearance at Nails & More Store in Henderson.THE COLOR... as mentioned, it's a pinky coral. It's sheer, it's bright and it's not coral enough to be orange, due to the pink. Even though it's bright, it's not dayglo and it's soft enough to be pretty as well as noticable. The clear chips, which are the focal point of this collection (as in glass from a martini glass, the popular thing to drink and to be seen with) are NOT noticeable here. All you see is a paler version of the pinky coral color NOT a glass color. So it's probably pointless than the glass chips are white and not self-colored (monochromatic). THE APPLICATION... the application was completely bother free. Perfect coverage, no streaks, and completely covered my entire nail surface. I do see ridges, so use a ridge filler.I cannot wait to sport this on a summer manicure although I'm sure a pedi would go too. If you can get your hands on this, try a bottle, as I think it's sure to be one of your favorite corals in the world. PM me if you want my swatch pic.
