It white! one coat is streaky but two or three and you've made it to opaque.

It's white so if your looking for a white this is a great one. It goes opaque in 3 coats but, takes forever to chip. It is a great polish.

I really like this white. It's a bit sheer and streaky at first, but I've had this problem with all the whites I've used. This color is opaque with three coats which is the only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5, because I typically like my polishes to be opaque in no more than two coats. Regardless, I really like this white. It goes on nicely, the formula isn't too thick or too thin, it's shiny, and it lasts 3+ days with no chipping or very minimal chipping. I've used this with Seche Vite and Sally Hansen base coats and Seche Vite top coat and haven't had the cracking or clumping issues as described below. Overall, I'm happy with this white and would definitely repurchase it.

This nail polish just doesn't cut it I think I don't very much like the Essie brand, the brush is too narrow. This white nail polish is a horrible product for such a high end brand. This nail polish clumps, leaves streaks and sheer gaps when painted, it also cracks on the whole base of the nail in a few days. I wanted a nice white polish, I would have done better with a cheaper nail polish, I heard Sally Hansen would be better and cheaper too. Don't waste your money. 8USD for a crappy nail polish. :/

I actually had quite the opposite experience from the previous reviewer. I had a mani-pedi with this polish a week ago. I have rock climbed twice since (which tears your nails to all heck) and I own a bar so I am constantly washing dishes, and this polish has held up miraculously. I haven't even done a follow-up top coat! This is the first Essie polish I have ever tried (Chanel and OPI are my usual faves), but this is better than any polish I have tried in terms of durability. I also love the bright white color against my (faux) tan. I won't use it in fall or winter, but I will definitely purchase next summer.
