No offense to the previous reviewers, but this has to be one of the ghastliest nail colours I have ever seen! It's a light-to-midtoned brown creme which simply does not conjure up pretty images in my head. It also looks quite awful on my skintone. I am sure that this colour will look good on some skintones, but mine is definitely not one of those skintones. On the bright side, Orient X-presso does apply very well, with no streaks at all. It is semi-sheer, and opaque after two coats.Pics:Nails continued >>

I've wanted this shade for so long but could never find it and then finally...there it was! And I have to say, the wait was worth it! Orient X-presso is more creamy latte than espresso. And if you ever had a hard time finding a brown shade that was just "neutral" this is it. No orange tone, no purple or pink tone. Yay me!

I was looking all over for a neutral creamy brown, but kept finding dark browns or pseudo browns that had shimmery mauve undertones. Leave it to Essie to create a great neutral brown like this one! This brown is light, like a cup of coffee with just the right amount of cream. You could do one coat and still have that polished finish.I was not a fan of Essie until recently. I thought their polishes were streaky after a bad "ballet slippers" experience. But this has changed my mind! Perfect color if you're looking for a great neutral tone other than the standard, sheer pink nude.
Essie is available in the following product types:
