From Essie's 2015 Bridal Collection, Happy Wife Happy Life (cute name!) is a pretty, bright, basic, medium red creme. It looks beautiful on the nail, but there are seriously a million red polishes out there. And I love reds, but a red polish has to be something really special to stand out from all the others. And this one doesn't.Similar shades that I prefer to this one are Essie's Forever Yummy, Butter London's Her Majesty's Red, and OPI's Big Apple Red. There are just too many excellent reds out there. This one is good but it's not something that I would buy again.

I have a warm complexion with yellow undertones and tan very easily in the summer. This is definitely my new holy grail red polish. It is a gorgeous flashy, tomato red with the perfect hint of orange. flashy, sexy, bold, and classy all in one. perfection in a bottle!

A beautiful, bright tomato red polish that was a dream to apply. It went on smoothly and was opaque in two thin coats although as the colour is very pigmented you may get away with one. It is a shiny polish when it dries but I added a top coat just for longevity.

Happy Wife Happy Life is from Essie's 2015 bridal collection. How cute is the name? This is a classic orange-red crème, not an unusual or original color, but still beautiful. It's highly pigmented and applied without any hint of streaking or patchiness, so you could get away with just one coat, although I always apply two. Just one thing: the formula is very liquid and somewhat drippy, so be careful not to load too much product on your brush and keep wiping off the excess on the inside of the bottle top.
