I think it is a wonderful neutral red perfect for very skin color. I don't really like reds that are obviously cool-toned, so this one was perfect. I wouldn't buy that again not because of the quality (it is amazing), but because I don't really paint nails red that often.Easy application, but beware of red red stains on your skin so apply precisely. Hot lava red is the best explanation for this red. Good job, Essie, as always.

Bright orangey-red but there are better ones out there. From their Summer 2016 Collection, Essie's Hiking Heels looks a lot like OPI's Monsooner or Later, Butter London's Statement Piece, and Essie's Fifth Avenue. And I actually prefer those others to this one. It's a nice shade and great formula but there's really nothing special about it.I liked this one but I didn't love it. Wouldn't buy it again.

Gorgeous orange-toned red. Very bright, perfect red for summer! One coat is opaque enough for me, making it an easy polish for on the go (although you do have slight tip wear with just one coat...) Especially pretty on toenails! (picture added is taken of the Dutch beautyblog Miss Lipgloss).

There are a lot of orange-y reds out there, and this is my very favorite one. Essie's Hip-anema is a bright tomato red creme from the Spring 2013 Madison Ave-Hue Collection. It is bright and vivid, perfect for summer. This color is gorgeous and the formula is great, opaque in two coats and no streaking.If you don't already own a fantastic bright orange-red, then I'd definitely recommend this one. This is the best version of tomato red I've ever seen. Would buy it again!
