Today I am sharing with you essie's Neon Collection which celebrates stylish girls around the world struck by fashion fever. These neon's include 6 new polishes which are really fun, funky and bright and perfect for sandle season. I just love neon nail polish so I was really excited about trying out this collection.I'm no polish-applying expert, but the formula for these is not ideal, I prefer a formula that glides on like melted butter and is self-levelling. These however are super thin and the self-level is pretty much non-existent. They dry fairly quickly so there is not a lot of time to get your application even and exactly where you want it. Sometimes, it's just not straightforward to apply neon polishes, but I have yet to find a neon that's undemanding to apply. If you have the patience to apply several coats over a white base coat you will be rewarded with the perfect neon pop from one of these gorgeous and vibrant summer shades. Another little tip is to use the essie quick-e drying drops over your top coat.
