Disappointed. I never the color was sheer was it was to sheer for my licking. 3 coats and it still looked like I was wearing clear polish.

i'm a relatively new essie-user, and i was not disappointed with this! i'm used to paying 99 cents for a wet n wild polish, but i kept hearing how awesome essie is, so i figured whta the heck, i'll give em a try. so glad i did! this is PERFECT for my french manicures! iuse it along with essie marshmellow. i'm around an nc10-15, just for reference. this can be used with just one coat, as it's not streaky at all, but i tend to use 2 coats, just b/c i want a little more color. with 2 coats it's still sheer, but definately noticable.. but not TOO noticable, if ya know what i mean. gives my nails a really healthy look. i think in the future i may try applying it over an all-white-polished nail :)

Great sheer color, I put this on for the office. More of a sheer mix between beige and white with a hint of pink, applies easily and looks very polished and professional. Going to use this for a french mani next time!

Rock Candy is a very pretty delicate pink. Essie has so many sheer/light pink shades the so called perfect french manicure pinks.It all comes down to prefrence, finish, skin tone etc.Rock Candy happens to be my favorite and perfect for my fair/cool skin pink whether it's for a french pedi or just to wear alone if Im looking for a sheer,polished look. Rock Candy is very sheer yet pigmented enough to be noticed especially during the summer months when I have a tan. Rock Candy along with Spaghetti Strap are my two favorite pale pink shades. Several days ago I purchased another light pink shade from Essie called Better Together which I haven't tried yet but it looks very pretty.

This one is soo pretty.Gives me even nails with a very nice hint of color. My nails look almost like perfect acrylic nails with this.I am already on my second bottle.Perfect for work, interviews, every day, first date ... :)Lasts me about 5 days without top coat.Does not chip, but rather peel off.Just don't leave it in direct sun light as it will turn grey.
