Sunshine State Of Mind is a juicy orange shade from Essie. It was released as part of their Spring 2016 collection, so I'm surprised to be the first reviewer! The colour is similar to Essie's Braziliant, but is a creme rather than a shimmer and is just a smidgen lighter and pinker. It is a gorgeous, juicy shade of orange. The formula is decent but a little streakier than I am used to. The first coat is very streaky, but the second coat evens it out. The second coat can be streaky but is self-levelling so I advise you to apply this polish in thin coats and with a steady hand. Two coats is all you will need to reach full opacity. I find that it lasts around 4-5 days with base and top coat, and I find this to be the standard wear time for Essie shades. This is very flattering on my NC15 skin tone, and I imagine it to suit all other warm tones particularly well. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice orange creme polish to wear in the warmer months.
