Why all the negativity? This is what it is. I couldn't resist this palette when I saw it in a local shop. I only use one colour at a time and smear it on with my finger. This is cheap and cheerful and not something I would wear all the time, obviously, but it was perfect for the party season. A complete change from my usual neutral eye look!

I ended up needing to return this. I was hoping for a palette of cream shadows with a little glitter for the holidays but the texture of these shadows is just horrible. The glitter seems like it's just sprinkled on top of a Vaseline-like base. They are impossible to apply & impossible to remove (I found glitter flecks days later on my eyelids) & basically just unusable. The glitter is grainy and irritating and the base is sticky.

I don't know how to use it. Maybe I should try to put some water to blend it better.I clean my eyes, I use primer and this just stay. It's awful, it is not shimmery nor has enough glitter.

I have been eye balling the glitter cream palettes for quite some time. When cherryculture.com has a sale, I never buy it, but I always look at it. Well, I finally splurged $4.00 for Sweet Chocolate Brown. The palette contains five shades. Of the five shades, only two of them work. When I say "work", I mean you can actually get the cream glitter out of the palette.The gold is gorgeous ~ a lovely accent for an evening out. The problem is that nothing else matches the gold. So, you do not have a color to blend it with. The other shade that "works" is a pink shade. It's fairly easy to pick up shadow and apply to your eyelids. The balance of the three shadows, remind me of glitter shakers from grade school when we used glue and glitter to make a project. That is exactly how they look on your hand. Forget about trying to apply the color to your lid. You will have patches of colored glitter. I guess if your ambitious, you can mix these shades with other eye shadows, but I don't like to take the time to make art out of a $4.00 teeny bopper eye shadow. I will never purchase this again...
