If you ever see old black & white family photos of Italian women in the 50's and 60's you'll likely to see black lips their red lipstick and super-dark undereyes. True regarding my family, so I've inherited those horrific dark circles (thank God for the invention of concealer!). I turned 56 in December; my facial coloring has changed as I've aged even from year to year and that has meant the constant search for new shades and new methods to fix my cosmetic problems. On a search for a new undereye corrector shade the peach wasn't working anymore I bought this. Examining my undereye coloring in daylight, I now see yellow and brown (with some pink tone, but only when I've been rubbing my eyes). I've never read or seen any color suggestions to correct brown tones; I think that cosmetics for olive-toned skin is still unexplored. Anyway, after applying my facial primer, a gather some product by rubbing my fingertip over the barely-raised tip of the stick; this warms and softens up the product and prevents the stick from breaking. I dab it under my eye as needed, over the yellow, sallow areas and blend a bit. Then I apply my regular u/e concealer over all and blend. Seriously, WOW. This color combination really brightens my undereye area and yet looks very natural. I am so pleased with this purchase! For $4.99 I encourage you to try a couple of these Concealer Sticks and play around with yellow, lavender or green and see if you can solve a problem or two!
