A THANK YOU to NYX for not ignoring us redheads first of all.
A THANK YOU to NYX for not ignoring us redheads first of all. I spent over a month trying to find something for my eyebrows and even most expensive brands either don't have anything or only offer a single product for redheads as if we all have the same shade of hair color. Yes I know we can also use eye shadow on eyebrows but I'm not going to do even more research and tests to find something. The only tiny negative thing I can say about this product is that the packaging is a bit difficult to open. The rest is all good. The color looks dark in the package but its lighter shade red is lighter than it appears when you put it on. It might suit for strawberry blondes too. I'm auburn redhead for me mixing the two colors gives a great result. The wax doesn't shape the eyebrows much if you have stubborn hair that grows upwards like me but it helps a lot for the powder to stick. The price is reasonable for the quality too. I will definitely repurchase.
I've owned both this and cinnamon for years.
I've owned both this and cinnamon for years. While I do use cinnamon more this is also wonderful. It's a warm red. Very very pigmented; finely milled; easily buildable and blendable, either over tinted moisturizer; in conjunction with matte bronzer or baked under powder. While I am prone to hives and milia, this causes no adverse reactions. It just creates a luminous flush (not sparkly) on my NC 30-35 olive skin. I apply very lightly and sparingly with a big brush; when applied this way, I think this could be universally flattering. One compact is probably a lifetime supply. Since it can go from a subtle flush to saturated war paint, I think this could be suitable for a variety of complexions. Although this is a powder, it works on my combination skin and doesn't accentuate dry patches.
My HG brow product.
My HG brow product. I don't know how I ever lived without it. The colors are absolutely perfect to combine to match my natural brow color, which is a first for me. Normally brow products are too dark, or too red, or too brown, but the level of customization with this thing is awesome. My brows are beginning to turn white, unfortunately, but the powder darkens the white hairs sufficiently that you'd never be able to tell, and the wax seals the color and keeps them in place all day without trouble. It's easy to use, inexpensive, and just all around perfect. I hope NYX never stops making this!

For months and months, I struggled to find an eyebrow product for myself that would give me the eyebrows I wanted without being too warm, and I finally found it in this product. For the record, I have red hair that is a shade in between fully fledged ginger and auburn. Too dark for Caramel Dipbrow, too light for Auburn Dipbrow. My eyebrows, however, are basically blonde, and very sparse. So I can get the eyebrows I wish I was born with, I use this NYX product and the MAC Pro Longwear Brow Set in Red Chestnut for my brows. The brow set is almost the EXACT same colour as my hair, but doesn't give me that thick, full eyebrow look that I want. So I can give the illusion of more fullness, I use the lighter powder in this set to map out the shape and base colour of my brows, and use the MAC Brow Set to hide my blonde eyebrow hairs and keep everything in place nicely. The result is not too warm, natural looking, full brows that match my hair almost exactly. The staying power of this isn't anything to write home about, but that's to be expected for a powder. I don't use the wax or tools included in the kit, as I prefer to use a much slimmer angled brush for the precision I want when mapping out the shape of my brows. However, I have used them in a pinch while travelling and they do an adequate job.If you have ginger/red hair, get this. You won't regret it.
If you are a natural redhead (or dyed) then you need this product to add to your makeup routine.
If you are a natural redhead (or dyed) then you need this product to add to your makeup routine. I picked this up after watching a You Tube video that a natural redheaded girl had posted strictly on her brow routine cause she had many viewers ask her about how she did her brows, etc. And she had stated she used this on her brows and actually showed how she used this and swatches of the 2 powders. I tried so hard to hunt this down in my city in the UK, to no avail but I come to the US a lot because of my duel citizenship status so I figured I'd eventually run into an extensive selection of NYX products and I finally did! When I saw this I snatched it up, went home, wiped off my brow pencil and applied this and my God did I fall in the love with the naturalness this brow kit provided. The brow powders are very pigmented so you only need a tiny bit to achieve a natural brow. The spoolie and brush are not bad at all IMO; I use them with this and it does a great job of achieving the look I desire. The brush is thing enough to provide me with the thin tail end of my brow that I want. I use the spoolie and lightly run it across the wax and brush my brows into place then continue with the brow powder. The dark red colour is super, super dark so I'd advise using the dark coloured powder sparingly. I take the brush and lightly run it across the lighter coloured powder then dab the brush ever so lightly into the darker coloured powder and apply the product that way to my brows. This stuff has lasted through some really hot and humid days for me and it has not budged. I love this stuff so much and my look for an HG brow product specifically geared towards a Ginger is over. I'm going back and buy 2 more before I go back home. One kit will probably last me a year if not longer because the amount of product you need a minimal.
