This is actually not the exact product I have, but a similar one. The one I have is NYX glitter eyeliner in Crystal Champagne.My first glitter liquid eyeliner. I love the color and the glitter payoff. However, it tends to peel off if you apply it too thick, so you have to be really careful of the amount you apply.

In my opinion even though there are very slight differences, this product is a very (very very) close dupe for Urban decay heavy metal glitter eyeliner. We own both. I have swatched and applied both. I do not wear this but I purchased this for my daughter. (a few of the other colors in this line as well).The night I did wear this I had no issues with flaking. Urban Decay Heavy Metal Eyeliner: 18.00 US $NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliner: 4.50 US $Unless you are brand loyal to UD, I don't see a reason not to purchase the NYX one. Just my humble opinion. Plus that tassle is so cute :-D

I have pretty sensitive eyes, so I always need to be careful what I put near them. My eyes tend to tear up and turn red easily. I really hate to ruin the perfect review but...I think the actual product is great. It's a pure gold color in a clear base, and it catches light very nicely. The application is very even so you won't have a weird distribution of glitters.When I put this on, it was irritating especially for my lower lashline. But even on my upper lashline, it was very irritating. I felt a stinging sensation whenever I put this close to my eyes, which is such as shame since I wanted to like the product. I'd hate to imagine how a contact lens wearer might react. If you have sensitive eyes, stay away!

I bought this well over a year ago and just haven't had a really good opportunity to use it until today, Halloween of '09. This is a fantastic glitter liner! I used it on my bottom lashline and was struck by how well the brush hugged the curve. It's thin, but it looks long and floppy, so I was sort of expecting a mess. The gel itself is dense with tiny true gold glitter. It dries quickly, but loses a lippy because something about it, either the glitter or the gel itself, seems to irritate my eyes a bit.

Wow. For $4, you can't beat this. It's comparable to the UD glitter liners, except that the NYX glitters are a tiny bit bigger than the size of the UD glitter specks. However, you've gotta take into consideration the price difference also -UD glitter liners are about $16 $18 a pop... that's four times the cost of the NYX ones. I would have a problem if the pigmentation of the NYX glitters are an issue, but that's exactly the opposite. NYX glitter liners are highly pigmented (in terms of the glitter)... they're gorgeous. You just need a tiny bit on your eyes for it to be noticed. Grab these if you can... **Swatch pic loaded: continued >>
