I have 3 of these in the shades: "Twisted" (back when it the Turnt Up! line was called High Voltage instead), "Wine & Dine", and "Sweet 16". All 3 shades give me maximum colour, pigmentation, and opacity in a single swipe. A single swipe of this lipstick looks just as opaque as it does in 4 swipes. It can easily overpower the colour of my lipliner. The formula is exceptionally creamy, lasts on the lips (without touching up) for at least 6 hours on me (although lipsticks in general tend to last pretty long on me). Only 2 main issues with this:1) You REALLY need to swatch this on your skin if possible. The colour on the lips/skin is significantly brighter than it looks in the tube. The testers for "Turnt Up" and "Sweet 16" were gone at the Ulta I went to, so the colours were paler and more neon on my skin than I had anticipated once I tried them at home. That being said, they are beautiful colours, and I kept them because it seemed like a good opportunity to experiment with neon shades.2) The packaging is easily damaged. I accidentally dropped one tube on CARPET and the bullet doesn't swivel up anymore. Another tube just doesn't swivel down, even though nothing happened to it. I've never had this issue even after dropping other drugstore lipsticks.Basically, I would buy these again, but only if there are testers present to swatch, and if the packaging isn't as easily damaged in future batches of these. This is the most pigmented lipstick formula I've ever used.

I love Nyx lipsticks and have a vanity full of them! I use this one, in the shade "Flutter Kisses", which is described as a "soft pink mauve". It is the perfect shade that compliments my natural lip color and complexion and serves as the perfect nude for me, as it is honestly the exact color of my lips. The other colors in the line seem like they could be nice nudes for others, based on their coloring.I find that the lipstick, because I use a shade identitical to my natural lip color, doesn't get patchy/splotchy. It doesn't really transfer horribly as well; just on glasses & the likes, but not all over my teeth or clothes or anything.The lipstick is very smooth and buttery; it's kind of like a butter clay lol. And it, surprisingly, lasts a long time. There isn't really a scent or taste, either; it just smells and tastes like lipstick. It's also so little that it can fit in a wallet or small pants pocket it is much narrower than a classic lipstick and is quite discrete. It's my go-to everyday lipstick shade :)

I really like these actually! I have Dahlia and mirage. Dahlia is a dark plummy purple, almost black. Mirage is a light nude beige with pink. Im extremely pale and mirage is a very nice nude for me. These lipsticks lasts a long time on my lips (few hours) and they fade nicely. They smell nice, kind of slightly vanilla/sugar. They feel great on the lips too, very thin and moisturizing but also opaque in color. I like it! I will purchase other shades eventually :)I gave a lower packaging score because honestly its ugly. I hate it. I hate that there are printed words all over it and that the tube is skinny..... I guess I just prefer a traditional lipstick kind of tube/packaging. Overall though, a great drugstore lipstick, worth a try!

I love most of the NYX products I've trued, and I wanted to love this lipstick. The color is gorgeous, I got the one called Twisted, which is a bright, vibrant pinky purple. The pigmentation is out of this world, it looks great on, but it got sort of splotchy over the course of the day. Had to reapply about 3 hours later without eating or drinking. It stained my lips, but not in an attractive way. It also transfers VERY easily, and I'm a messy person, so I tend to go for stuff that doesn't stay slick on your lips for too long. It gets kind of sticky and the color leaves with it. The packaging is cheap, and the lid has already fallen off a few times in my bag, so that's no good. I'll probably find a way to wear it because I don't like throwing products away when I've barely used them, but I wouldn't buy it again. I give it 3 stars, only for the awesome color and pigmentation.

This lipstick line used to be called NYX High Voltage Lipstick. It's now NYX Turnt up! I grabbed the shade Flawless and like it. It's a very beige nude. Since I'm a huge nude lipstick fan, I have a ton of nude shades and I will say that for the $6, this isn't worth the price. I like it, but I have an ELF $1 Essentials lipstick (Nostalgic) that wears exactly the same (little more pink toned, so more like NYX Turnt Up in Stone) but for so much less money. I also find that the NYX formula is a bit drying.If you google swatches take them to heart. These are very pigmented and true to the colors. I thought Flawless could be a nice natural nude -it's very very beige and gray toned and one swipe will make my lips look not nude, but gray white tan. If you are looking for a bold color I think these would be worth the price (like the shade Playdate a lilac) because you are going to get your money's worth. But for $6 for a nude lippie no. Would consider buying a purple shade though!
