NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Gold - #JEP612

Love these pencils as they are so affordable and come in a wide variety of shades. Gold is lovely, soft and smooth to apply, I like to use this one as an upper lid eye liner with a natural. smoky or rosey pink eye look. This eye liner especially pops when over lined with eye shadow and this way stays in place all day.Gold is a darker more slightly bronzed version of Gold. The jumbo pencil in Pure Gold is a lighter more true gold looking shade.Sure I will be repurchasing these Jumbo pencils as I use them up.

I hate to be the wet blanket here but I just cannot love this eye pencil even though I want to. This eye shadow creases quite a lot, and having to use an eye shadow primer below it is, to me, too troublesome maybe I am just fussy. To anyone fooled by the good ratings for this THIS PRODUCT CREASES. The only way this will not crease is to use an eye shadow primer or have super dry eye lids (which, in that case, you are very lucky). The colour is pretty although I wish it were not pigmented. It is too close to my Asian skin colour to have the colour 'pop'. Applying the nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk underneath it doesn't seem to work for me either. I have three of these pencils in different shades but I regret buying them.

This jumbo eye pencil is great. I use it when I want my eyeshadows to look a little more vibrant or intense (my everyday one is Yogurt Jumbo Eye Pencil). It is a gorgeous coppery gold. I have to warn you guys it is sort of orangey, but I like that. Anyways, it is super pigmented and you don't need a whole lot to cover your whole lid, maybe two swipes and blend it out. My biggest complaint is the packaging. Mine was broken when I bought it (the lid was cracked) and my friend used it and the lid slid completely down and crushed the whole tip of the pencil. This stinks, but I would still purchase again.

first of all.. i just love nyx jumbo eye pencil! i think it's a great product, easy to use, good price... but i really didn't like this in gold. i love gold makeup, but this i think is so yellowish.. not a pretty shade. because of it, i won't buy this in gold again, but i'll still buy the others! :)

I love this color. It's a deep shimmery orange-gold with hints of bronze. My favorite eyeshadow look involves lots of gold tones, so this is a great color for my collection. It goes on quite creamy and has loads of pigmentation. I usually blend it away with an EcoTools eyeshadow brush. I would suggest using it as eyeliner above/below your lashes, as a crease color or as an outer V color as it is a bit too orange to look good slapped on your lids unless you add a shimmery, light gold color on top. The pencil can get a bit messy but I've used it a few times and it still maintains its nicely rounded/pointed edge.
