Hmm, I think Nyx has update the formula to this. It does have a slightly chemical smell, which I don't get why, but whatever. The formula is like an emollient lipstick, but it lasts surprisingly well with my Buxom lipgloss over it. The color is a pink toned brown with a frost finish. I love pairing it with my Princess lipgloss. It makes an updated version of the brown lipliner/pink lipstick look I used to rock last decade.

The color, "rose-brown" sounded great for a pale, yellow-orange skin tone gal like me. Since it's impossible to tell the color from the NYX or cherry culture.com website, I took my chances based on the name. When the pencil arrived, it looked questionable. I applied the pencil along with a NYX slim pencil in the same color that I bought, and it looked like I had swallowed poop. I burst out laughing when I looked at myself in the mirror. Sorry, if what I wrote is offensive ~ there is no other way to say it! My lips looked disgusting.Brown lipstick was popular in the 1990's and I never liked it then, and I wasn't planning on starting now. This pencil is so ugly, and unflattering, I couldn't believe that NYX even made this color. What were they thinking? More importantly, what was I thinking when I purchased this? My DH asked me if it was a new trend. I like NYX pencils, but I will never buy this color again. This went straight into the garbage can ~ I do not believe I could even give this away!!
