I got this as an extra in a swap and while its cute, its inconveniently packaged and you waste product if you don't depot it. The product is a medium grey with a ton of shimmer and no matter how much I tried to pack on, it wouldn't build up well. The pigmentation is not good in this and I cannot recommend this product.

This is my least favorite of the five ultra mania pigments I own. I thought it would be great for smokey eyes, but it's just sort of bland. I applies more like a matte eye shadow than a pigment. I expected this to be a metallic black, but it turned out to be a matte charcoal. It's also very difficult to work with and blend. Really disappointed by this.

I picked this up for $3.49 at Ulta today. (i think their revamping the entire nyx line, soo many items were BOGO or significantly reduced) This is a gorgeous deep midnight blue, with silver sparkles. Not glitter/shimmer that will fall out but dust of silver that twinkles in the light. Where was this for my new year's smokey night look? Anyways, just fyi this has DOUBLE the product as the usual square box ($5) NYX single shadows (0.07 oz). These are 0.14 oz and in a circular container-the same size as their cream blushes. So its still a steal at the full price of $7!

I picked this up at my local beauty supply store the other day and thought that I would give it a try, Although the color is supposed to be a black pearl its not, its more of a charocal/greyish/silver color. Some other downfalls include the packaging, I had to go to Michaels and buy little jars to put them in AND, the black didnt last very long when I did a purple smokey eye other than that, the price was very dirt cheap and its pretty pigmented. I will try applying some black eyeshadow and then this to give it a pearl look next time I try and do a smokey eye other than that I think I will stick with my other black shadows I wouldnt really buy this again

These NYX pigments are amazing! If you use them wet they look like liquid metal, absolutely gorgeous. I prefer natural colours myself, but when I wear bright colours I love making a blue smokey eye with this! It's literally what the name says it is, it's opalescent not shimmery. Use it wet and it's even more opalescent. Very opaque, a little goes a long way! These pigments will last you forever! The container these come in are useless so what I do is buy empty lip balm containers with the screw top lid and put the pigments in there. Works perfectly and saves a lot of mess!
