I generally like NYX e/s singles and own quite a few. I saw these ultimate pearl shadows at my local Ulta and thought they all looked very pretty. I purchased this shade and in the pan, the color looks very cool. The shade is a warm pink with gold glitter. I wanted to use this shadow as a wash paired with black liner for a simple yet pulled together look. According to the NYX site, these new ultimate pearl shadows are highly pigmented that impart a soft shimmery iridescent look. I totally was disappointed with the pigmentation. After I primed & lined my eyes, I applied this and all I got was chunky gold glitter everywhere. I got ZERO pink eyeshadow color, not even a faint hint of color! This shadow was an epic fail for me. I'm the first to review this shade. However, other ultimate pearl shades were reviewed with satisfactory reviews. I don't think I'll waste another 5.99 to see if any of these other colors are any better.
