Normally I'm the girl you see sitting in the middle of the makeup aisles looking up reviews on products that have caught my eye. The one time I opt to take a chance on a seemingly beautiful shade of gloss from NYX is the time I get home and find myself horrified at the frosty pink shade accosting my lips! It reminds me a little of some Bonne Bell lip gloss I had in the 90's that was my timid foray into makeup as a middle schooler. This isn't QUITE as light and frosty as that, but the appearance in the tube certainly fooled me. What I thought I was getting was something that fell between Natural and Cosmo. Nope. Redeeming factors: I do like the NYX Mega Shine formula. It goes on evenly, isn't drying, and has decent lasting power. Also, it's max $5 so you can afford to fail like I did.

This is a gorgeous super alternative to the brownish nude color. It is modish & cool.

Sweetheart is a frosty pinky nude colour. I usually prefer a nude colour like the NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee( BEST nude lipgloss!) but this looks really good too. I actually prefer this formula as it feels lighter on the lips but lasts longer. If you love nude pinks and peaches, you might want to give this colour a go!

I just picked up this little gem at Ulta a few weeks ago and I love it. As others have noted, it is frosty and quite opaque but I love it. The color itself a soft, muted pink and I think it is just gorgeous! The staying power is actually pretty great. I went to dinner the other night while wearing this and ate an entire salad and the gloss was still visibly on my lips by the time I finished my meal. Best of all, the gloss smells like cherries or something really sweet and fruity. I completely recommend this as long as you don't mind some frost.

I love NYX glosses but this one was way too frosty for my taste. It would pair well with a very pale nude pink lipstick or even by itself since it's pretty opaque.
