I generally like the NYX lipstick in Rose Bud. The color, on me, is a pretty ballet pink with a hint of pale orange. I'm very, very, VERY pale, and I just don't feel like it works with my skin tone. So I have to blot it with my fingers to try to take away some of the shine. I'm just not a fan of having to blot this, so it lost a lippie for me. Also, this is very drying on my lips...I don't know. It's just average for me. It's not something I'll reach for too often, but it won't get shoved to the back of my makeup drawer either. For four dollars, it's really nice. It's just too greasy for my liking.

Love this lipstick. It's a frosted rose which adds to my natural color a nice shine.The texture is better than the mattes. This lipstick is not too soft like the other round lipsticks in matte (Thalia, B52 etc.).

Rose Bud looked very pretty in the tube so I had high hopes for this one. But unfortunately it's not that good. It has an unpleasant chemical scent which is too bad. It has better staying power than the other round lipstick I own from NYX but it's still not as good as my other lipsticks. It just doesn't work for me. My lips looked super shimmery and didn't flatter my NC 15 complexion. It's a very cheap product but going a little higher with your budget will give you a much better product.

This product came so close to being a perfect go-to, easy lip color, but it fell short. I had no idea, based on how it looked in the tube, that it'd be so frosty! Shimmer? I love a nice shimmery lip. But this is over the top frost. You know how overly tan (orange) women look when they put on a pale pink gloss? That's how I felt---but I'm super fair (NC15ish). The color itself is lovely, underneath the frost. I love the feel of the lipstick, and it wears reasonably well for being so creamy and lightweight. I'll definitely try other NYX lipsticks, but I'll be certain to consult these reviews before purchasing.

This is one of my 24 NYX Round lipsticks that I purchased last February over Cherry Culture. I purchased it for USD 1.99 + shipping and 20% discount.This lipstick is coral toned, and it is not blue-based which is a good thing. It is sheer though, making it hard for me to mix and match, in my own opinion.I love coral tones more than pinks because with corals and oranges, I can never go wrong. Even though the color is not that good for me, for coral tones, it's still wearable on me, unlike for pinks, once it's not good and not wearable, it's not wearable.This color is ok for me but not a big fan of its color nor the lipstick itself.
