Yeah it's not great for dry lips. Or I imagine any lips.I swatched this in store, and it looked beautiful. But when applied to lips it just patches and looks uneven and cakey. So all in all, it's a really shit lip stick. Epic fail by NYX.

It has a gorgeous creamy matte finish....for about an hour! Then it turns into a gross peeled mess. You start to get this dry gritty grime on your lips....no, not sexy, pure grossness.

I hate this product with a passion. It swatched so beautifully in store so i bought it for the hefty 8$+tax. Boy was i disappointed. I tried it on immediately in my car after purchasing and all i wanted to do was get my money back but it was non returnable. First, it smells like cheap plastic, chemicals and crayons. It goes on so gross, its like a grainy application that leaves my lips so ugly and dry, it accentuates every line in my lips and makes me look terribly sick. Its the formula all together that sucks. I wont be purchasing any more of these cream sticks. Don't waste your money, buy their lip creams or butter gloss or normal lipstick which are all infinately better.

I got this on sale at Target for around $3. Loved the color, and the fact that it's a crayon form. However, this has zero lasting power and I just don't care for it. Not horrible, not fantastic.

This review is for NYX Lip Cream Simply Nude in Fairest. I's in a pencil form but requires no sharpening because he bottom of the tube is a twist up! How cool is that? Best of all it was $6.00. It's a matte creamy product but it's not drying on the lips at all. The color is a peachy nude which is perfect for highlighting and/or building a nude lip. It's so creamy and light that I can even wear it as a lip moisturizer. It is light in shade and texture. It melts on the lips and just deposits a light, moisturizing color. If you are into creating nude lip looks this and a taupe or light brown liner is all you need for a matte modern nude lip. Will I order it again? Probably not. It's not a holy grail product imo it's a "nice to have".
