The color and the price are great, but the pigmentation is horrible. I've had this problem with many NYX eye shadows. I wish NYX could produce eye shadows with better pigmentation! They have a great color selection. I really wanted to like this because it looked like the perfect shimmery, golden eye shadow in the pan. I just wasn't the same on my eyes.

I absolutely love this color. If you have brown eyes with hints of red, this really makes them stand out. It's not too dark for daytime The gold glitter does not really stay on your eye, but the color itself is still wonderful. The shadow stays on great with a primer. This is one of my favorite brown eyeshadows. I will definitely repurchase.

Golden Amber is a red-based dark brown with gold sparkles. It's very pigmented and blends well. I love this for a crease color. The only problem is that the gold flecks of glitter do not always "stick around" on the eyes; when blending the eyeshadow on the crease, most of the glitter falls off. Part of me kinda likes this because on days when I want a matte brown, I just blend it in more and there's basically no glitter.

I just picked this up at a 40% off sale at Ulta. Im loving it. Nice blendable MATTE brown with the teeniest tiniest bit of gold flecs. I took off a lippie bc if you WANTED the gold specs, it really doesnt show up when applied. I can do without and this is a good replacement for a brown Ive hit pan.

This looks so pretty in it's container, however, once applied, yellow glitter ends up on my cheeks and the brown that remains on my lids ends up settling very spotty and patchy (despite trying several primers underneath). Disappointing!
