I have several different shades of Lip Lingerie but when they came out with new Shimmer and Glitter versions I decided I would compare these to my original matte and gloss finishes. I have the color Maison which is a beautiful tan/nude shade. The matte version of these lasts the longest for wear time, with shimmer coming in second, gloss in third, and glitter in fourth. My favorite finish of all of these ended up being the shimmer version which has a nice finish. On days when my lips are feeling a little dry I will wear the gloss color since this gives my lips a little bit of hydration. The glitter version is an overall pass for me but was nice to have for this comparison. My review and full swatches can be seen here:

I have this is shade dark magic. I bought it on sale thinking it was a lip gloss. Turns out its actually a lip paint. It has a really nice berry scent and I dont really know why but it feels a bit tingly, its a pleasent feeling for me though. Maybe it's because its a dark shade but it just applys so streakily and thinly, so It doesnt really cover my natural lip colour and you can see it peeking through here and there. I might need to use this more to form an actual opinion on it but for now it isnt exactly my favorite product.Edit: Since my review i've used it more times and learn how to make it work. It actually has a pretty good staying power for a glossy finish product. I like to spread it a bit with my fingers so it is more even and put a sparkly pink gloss over it. It looks really good. Tho I still don't think its an awesome product and I wouldn't really wear it on its own

I ended up finding Dark Magic, which is a pretty purple color (or deep indigo on the website), on sale and decided to give it a shot. Now it's a lip tint, so the color payoff isn't going to be as well as I would have liked, but just gotta know that going in! I will say it did do that well. I did notice a slight blue/purple lip tint after it had worn off a bit. For Dark Magic, it was really patchy. I tried a thin layer, and then thought maybe layering with thin layers would help, but that did nothing, so I ended up putting a lot of product on and it sorta evened out in color. It made it unpleasant to wear, because it felt thick and sticky.As for something I still don't quite understand, it made my lips feel numb, which prompted me to wipe it off immediately. It doesn't advertise lip plumping. It's a gloss so it's already going to make your lips look fuller. I'll play around with a patchy product, no problem, but unintentional lip numbing is a deal breaker. I will say, based on reviews, not everyone had this problem of numbing and some even liked the tingling. It's a pass for me.

I love this product. My lips look wonderful. They stand out and I like the fact that I get noticed when I'm out clubbing. When I dress sexy I don't want to short change any part of my appearance.

I've only tried it in Rustic Mirage but absolutely in love with the color. It's a liquid lipstick that's a hybrid color and gloss. The texture is unique, almost gel-like. Rustic Mirage is a wonderful muted rose color, I haven't tried the other colors yet.
