I really wanted to love this product. I really did. But I just couldn't and it ended up in the trash today. :/ Anyway, I found this at Ulta finally some months back and I had been eying this palette for quite some time (originally saw it at Target but didn't have the money for it). What drew me to it was the packaging && colors.I took it home, kept it in my makeup bag for a while because I wanted to wait for the right time to open it. I opened it, swatched it, and the colors were kind of patchy, plus the red in the palette isn't a true red. It's more of a light pink-red. I mainly used the matte taupe for my crease and I had to apply it MULTIPLE times. The colors except the matte black just aren't pigmented enough to my liking and the matte black was hard to blend honestly.So basically, the only good things about this palette were the price and the packaging. I'm not getting this again. :/

I could not get a pretty look from these shadows. I found them to be flakey and powdery. The colours are ok but I couldn't get the lighter shades to show nor did any of them blend well. They didn't last the day on me either and I'm not one to reapply my makeup. There are so many nice options at the drugstore I'd recommend giving this a pass (if it's still available).,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-Iamsheherazade-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸

this palette is perfect for traveling. the colors are all cool toned smokey shades. they blend easily and are smooth and buttery. i love nyx you can't go wrong with this palette especially for the price

My absolute favorite palette in my whole collection! I use this the most, its cute, super portable, has a bunch of different shadows and is really nice to blend on your eyes. Really does make great looking smokey eyes! I'd totally recommend this to anyone trying to get that smokey eye look. High quality palette!

I feel like I say this every time but I really do LOVE everything I have tried by NYX so far. This palette is excellent, it's great for a smokey eye & for a neutral eye too. I use the matte nude as a base for everything now (usually over the Barely Branded Color Tattoo by Maybelline). The matte taupe is perfect for an easy daytime look, nice with black cat-eye liner. I love this for a smokey eye the best, the matte black is such a perfect black highly pigmented & easy to blend [side note I always use a primer NYX HD eyeshadow base, then Barely Branded color tattoo, & the matte nude to start (it probably seems like way too many steps, but at least for me it helps to keep everything in place all day/night & makes colors brighter & easier to blend)]. So far, I've done combinations of the black & red (which is more like a dark pink, but you can build it), the black & the shimmery slate, and for a more daytime appropriate look the taupe & shimmery beige. I wasn't in love with the shimmery colors right away, but if you apply them slightly wet they have more of a pop. Mostly I use the black & MAC shadow (Knight Divine), with some of the NYX ultra pear mania shadows in white pearl & silver. It also looks nice & a bit softer if you try it with a tiny bit of the ultra pearl mania nude instead of the white pearl. I'm going to keep playing with the shimmery beige & shimmery slate bc they are really pretty, I just haven't discovered the best way to use them yet. Also, I like the red if you're doing a dark pink look, it goes well with the NYX shadow in Rust (found on Amazon).Overall, I really love this palette it gives you good options for different looks & it has my favorite nude, taupe & black shades of all time. I will definitely buy it again.
