Trickery is part of the NYX Wicked Lippie line. Honestly, I was looking for something different and this is so far out of my comfort zone I decided to give it a try.Trickery is an olive green w/lots of golden undertones. The Ulta website describes as a jewel tone with a metal finish. I agree with this description.This Lippie is soft and creamy and applies easily. It is very well pigmenated and non drying. As with many creamy lipsticks it does not last long and requires constant reapplication. And with this color, you really do need to reapply as it looks weird as it fades if you don't.This does NOT a look good on my very light pinkish undertoned skin and very pink lips. I probably won't wear this again as it isn't very flattering on me, but I do think that it would look better on someone with a different completion, perhaps darker with less pigmentated lips.If I do use Trickery again I think that I will use foundation or concealer on my lips first to tone down the pink and see if it looks better that way.You definitely will require a lip liner with this as it will migrate outside of your lip area if you have the slightest wrinkles/lines around your lips.That packaging is the standard lipstick tubing. There is nothing cute or unique about the packaging on this one, but it is functional and works well for application.I paid $5.99 for this at Ulta. Not a total loss but given how much this lippie doesn't work for me it was too much. I would not repurchase this color but have purchased others from this line and will review as I use them.
