If you're pale and warm-toned like me, this is the pink to end all pink. This is the staple. On my skin tone it pulls a beautiful glass-flecked rosy salmon pink with slight... I dunno... copperiness? Not overlaid, but as part of the color. Because it's not a copper flash or anything, it's just the nature of the flecks throughout. It's a perfect, warm, buttery medium-light pink shimmer on a paler skin, but might look dowdy, matronly or frosty on more pigmented skins. There are only six polishes I ever wear more than once and this is one of them. It's beautiful comfort food, like homemade mac and cheese with bacon bits.
Cozu-melted in the Sun is one of my favorite neutral polishes. It is a shimmery warm shell pink, and while it is understated, it is still very pretty. It is one of the more "office-friendly" colors that I own, but it is a good palate cleanser after a lot of bright or vampy colors. It wears really well, better than most of the other OPI shades that I own.
This is an odd little polish. I love it, and would buy it again if I ever run out.First it's a bit sheer. Your natural nail line (tips) will show even under 3 coats. BUT it's IDEAL on top of any nudish creme when you tire of the nude and boring life. It's a rose gold shimmer frost. It has a really frosty edge to it, but when you put it over a darker creme say Dulce De Leche, or a truly screechy coral creme like my favourite OPI on Collins Ave, you go from frosty to fiery pretty. The creme colour barely shows but it gives depth to the shimmer. It goes a touch gritty due to the shimmers I think, so I use my favourite uber shiny top coat that kind of melts everything together called Sally Hansen no chip Insta Dry top coat. That stuff gives it shine, and it seems to melt the frost down into the creme and it works. It rarely chips, due to the staying power of the shimmer. It's almost a metallic rose gold by itself, and it's really really pretty. But use a colour coat that covers like Dulce De Leche as a base, then enjoy the rose gold shimmer it has.
I was really excited to buy this polish because it's absolutely gorgeous from the outside, black with a variety of multicolored sparkles but I was very disappointed when I used it. this is a top coat which really only looks nice over a black polish. it's basically a clear glitter with massive random glitter chunks and requires layers upon layers to look nice. not the best, pretty disappointed.
Comet In The Sky is from the Gwen Stefani holiday 2014 collection, and it is composed of various sizes of black hex and iridescent hex glitter in a clear base. The black hexes seem semi-matte, whilst the iridescent hexes are mostly invisible in some lighting and shimmer blue, green, and copper in others. Comet In The Sky Is the black version of the white and iridescent glitter combo in the topper Snowglobe Trotter (which is from the same collection). The glitter applies fairly evenly and smoothly when you dab it on [rather than strokes], and the base is quick to dry. I love black glitter toppers because they go over any colour, so you can't go wrong with it. This sparse glitter mix also is great for jelly sandwiches (blue is my fave colour for this). I was also really delighted to find that this topper adds about two days to the life of my manicure too.Comet In The Sky was the first polish in the collection to sell out, but it is still fairly easy to find and buy on various Ebay stores [at the time of writing] so get it now if you're interested in it I can see this becoming another Mrs O'Leary's BBQ or Teenage Dream must-own shade...
