Crawfishin' For A Compliment is from the spring 2016 New Orleans collection. OPI call this creme shade a "lighter satsuma coral orange", whilst I think of it as electric peach, but either way this is one of those shades that is OMG for me; I just love it, and it makes my fair skin look tanned. A perfect polish for this time of the year.Unfortunately this isn't one of OPI's better formulas; Crawfishin' For A Compliment is on the workable-but-streaky side, so it takes some care and patience while applying it. Sometimes I can do a nail flawlessly in two coats, but it seems that most often I need three coats to level everything out. I rated this polish three lippies as using either a glitter topper or a good topcoat plumps up the polish enough to even out any remaining streaks, so this polish is usable (though I dislike the thick feeling of it). However when comparing this polish to the ones in the majority of OPI's great 2-coats-and-you're-done formulas, I found this to be a big disappointment though I think that the formula is slightly easier to work with than the other coral shade [Got Myself Into A Jam-Balaya] in the New Orleans collection. Ultimately I don't reccomend this shade, unless you get it cheap, and are prepared to work with it.
Really wanted this to work but unfortunately the formula is chalky and very streaky/patchy. After three coats it was still streaky. Love the color though, too bad it's so hard to work with.
