This is a very pretty plum polish from the OPI Washington DC collection (Fall 2016). It stood out to me among the colors in the collection. It has a crelly formula which is slightly runny and becomes opaque in 2-3 coats, depending on your application. I really like this polish and don't regret getting it, however it is not the most unique color I know there are several near-dupes out there. OPI Skating on Thin Ice-land is supposedly very close. I have Revlon Bold Sangria which is a bit darker but quite similar. So if you are a long time collector of nail polish you may already have something similar. But it is a very nice color that I will definitely reach for again.

This needs a base coat....read last paragraph!Kerry Blossom is a deep wine, plum shade from the DC Fall Collection promoted by Kerry Washington. Considering all the hype OPI has given this color, I would have hoped they put more effort into the formula.The consistency is very difficult to work with. It seems to be thick on the brush, and yet when putting it on the nail it seemed to thin out and barely cover. In other cases it was just much too thick and I needed to take some off the brush.The first coat was patchy and uneven. Two coats covered well enough. I added a top coat of SV. It looks great, but was a bit of a hassle.It looks a bit deeper on the nail than in the bottle.I much prefer Vinylux Tango Passion (brighter than KB) or OPI's Skating on Thin Iceland (deeper than KB), they are easier to work with. ETA: I used this again, and think I figured out how to use Kerry Blossom successfully. Because the 1st coat doesn't adhere well to the nail, I decided to use a base coat (I normally don't use one). Success!!! It seems to glide on easily over a base coat, without the patchiness, unevenness. I doubt I'd buy this again.

Gorgeous!!! This is from the OPI Washington D.C. 2016 Collection, and it's one of the three Special Edition Kerry Washington Shades from that collection. Kerry blossom is a deep, vampy shade of burgundy-plum with a creme finish. So perfect for Fall/Winter! It looks beautiful on the nail. A very flattering polish and a new favorite for me.Great OPI formula. Opaque in two coats and no problems with application or wear. I just want to mention that it dries to a shade that is slightly darker than how it appears in the bottle. But I love the end results and I would definitely buy this one again.Recommended!**EDIT** Dupe Alert! If you missed out on this polish from the Washington D.C. Collection, there's a new one from Essie that looks just like it. Designated DJ is a 99% dupe of Kerry Blossom. The Essie is a tiny bit darker in color but the difference is barely noticeable. Same formula and nearly the exact same color. Worth checking out if you can't find this one.

Fabulous little gem.It's a little too sheer for my tastes, but I get used to it. :)Over just your nail, it sometimes looks like you have nothing on, but in certain lightings it really gives you a nice opaque surprise!

A great discontinued polish. A nice navy base with a duochrome of green and purple. Applies easily, and is stronger if applied over a dark polish. Since it does have the older formula the smell is really strong! But a great color with nice color flashing effect.
