I am obsessed with this unique, glitter polish. My Voice Is A Little Norse is a textured glitter, similar to OPI's liquid sand line. It is a silver holographic glitter suspended in a grey-tinged clear base. I personally don't have any issues with the grey showing up once on the nail however. The grey is a lot more prominent in the bottle. I bought this polish to use as a topper to other polishes and one thin coat provides me with an even covering of glitter that does not need to be over manipulated. It is very easy to apply, gives good glitter payoff and is not base heavy. It dries quickly, and to a somewhat gritty finish though this is just the nature of textured polishes and not a flaw. Some thick top coat will cover the grittiness if it bothers you! It has a strong holographic rainbow effect which is stunning in the sunlight or under bright lighting. I love to wear this over a large variety of colours pinks, mints, greys and pale blues in particular. It lasts for around 5 days on the nail when paired with base and top coat. I have no issues with any glitter particles coming off. This is truly one of my favourite glitters it is a gorgeous addition to any mani.

This glitter from OPI's Nordic Collection Fall/Winter 2014 is much coarser and substantial than other glitters. Other glitters lay flat and I have to apply three coats to get the coverage of one coat of My Voice is a Little Norse. It does have a sandy texture, which I'm not crazy about, but a second coat of top coat will smooth it a little. It has surprisingly better staying power than flat glitters, one day maybe two longer. I'm on the fence whether I'll buy a second bottle when the time comes. I'm also not a big fan of OPI's wide brush, but I know some love it.

A light taupe-grey tinted base with tiny square holographic glitter bits that reflect light prettily. Its not very dense so it takes 4 coats. Really its best as a topper only. The finish is matte but sparkly and rough textured like Liquid Sands or Zoya Pixiedust. To bring out the sparkle and get a smooth finish, it needs 1 2 coats of a thicker type of top coat like Sally Hansen Insta-Dri or Seche Vite.

I was just a bit disappointed by this polish. For some reason I thought it would be a full coverage shade, I didn't realize it's more of a top coat. My Voice is a Little Norse is filled with small square holo glitter in a light gray jelly base. It is very glitter dense and I think you could get full opacity out of this with a few thick coats. However, the gray jelly base doesn't translate to the nail very well leaving the polish looking much lighter than the shade in the bottle. It applies easily and dries quickly. It dries to a rough, textured finish and is quite matte. I had to add 2 thick coats of topcoat to smooth it out and bring the gorgeous holo out. Without the topcoat I thought it was pretty dull. Will not repurchase.

I like it because the glitter is very fine and not to long to dry but you need 4 coats
