Show Us Your Tips was released as part of OPI's New Orleans collection. It is a gorgeous shade of periwinkle laced with silver shimmer. It takes on more of a purple hue in some lighting, but is just a gorgeous shade of polish. However, the formula is quite sheer and it does take 4 coats to reach opacity. This may be a cause of concern for some people, but the formula was good it layered well, didn't apply with streaks or patches and dried quickly, with a shiny finish. And the final outcome was so beautiful that, in my opinion, it was worth the four coats. As such, I won't deduct a lippy but it may be annoying for some customers. It lasted well, for five days when paired with base and top coat. I would recommend this polish to anyone who likes sparkly polishes and shades of blue.
This is a gorgeous periwinkle blurple with a hint of shimmer and a shiny finish. Lovely for a summer mani or pedi. 2 or even 3 coats is best. The other reviewers are accurate in their decsriptions. I like this color but it is sheer and needs multiple coats for the coverage i desire. That said, I love the color.
Show Us You Tips! if from OPI's Spring 2016 New Orleans Collection. It's a periwinkle polish with silver and blue shimmer. I was looking forward to trying this polish the most, but I found it to be very disappointing. I used 4 coats, as this polish is very shear. But even with 4 coats this polish is not fully opaque. Yes, the colour is pretty, but with so many pretty polishes out there, I wouldn't bother repurchasing the one with such disappointing formula. As sprite26 wrote, this polish might work better layered over a cream polish.
Show Us Your Tips is a periwinkle light blue with lots and lots of silvery-blue microshimmer. You have to apply three coats to get the same color as the bottle it really is sheer and thin! but application is very good, no streaking or patchiness, not even on the first coat. One of the advantages (or disadvantages, depending on your point of view) is that every time you try a new color, you discover that you already have at least one dupe, or nearly-dupe, in your stash. I found that SUYT is almost the same color as Essie's Lapis of Luxury, except that LoL is a creme while SUYT is a shimmer.
This is my 1000th review everybody!Anyway, OPI's Show Us Your Tips is from their New Orleans Collection for Spring 2016. When the collection came out, SUYT was the color that everybody was talking about. It's a lavender-tinged baby blue shimmer (periwinkle) that's loaded with TONS of silvery microshimmer. This shade reminds me a lot of FingerPaints Grape Gumball. But paler, bluer, and way more shimmery. (P.S. you know you're a nail polish addict when every np reminds you of another np that you already own). But if you like Grape Gumball then this one is definitely worth checking out.My only complaint about this polish is how sheer it is. SUYT probably works beautifully as a layering polish, but I haven't tried it that way. On its own, three layers are needed for full opacity. The results are beautiful though. Shimmery and slightly delicate.Very smooth application and no problems with wear.I would absolutely buy this one again. Recommended!
