This is a very pretty creme polish. It is a unique cornflower/periwinkle shade. It can look more blue or purple depending on the lighting. I posted two photos illustrating this effect. It's pretty in all lighting IMO. This polish looks great on fingers or toes. It's perfect in two coats, but you could probably get away with one it's very opaque. The formula seems a bit thick, but it isn't clumpy and it self-levels quite well.

Great glitter polish that is opaque with 2 coats. Fuschia and magenta based in color.

As much as I like the grapey-plum color, this particular texture just doesn't work on me.I've never really been a fan of super matte texture. On nails or skin.

I have just purchased Alcatraz Rocks from the 2013 Opi San Francisco collection. That's divine. On the strength of that, further investigation revealed that this was one of many liquid sands collection. I settled on Vesper based on swatches online. Let me tell you, it looks nothing like the online pics. A lacklustre matte glitter (if there can be such a thing). Dark purple rather than the black glittery polish that the swatches promised. Really dull polish. Very disappointing. Wish I could return.

I'm a little disappointed in this liquid sand texture polish. I had a wonderful experience with both Solitaire and Tiffany Case so I returned and picked this beautiful purple liquid sand up too. This one though is a bit sheer and it is a matte with no sparkle at all. It was tricky to apply too and it was difficult to get a nice clean edge with this polish. It did cover in 2 coats but really could benefit from undies. It is a nice deep purple color though and goes well on my fair skintone. It looks like fine sandpaper as far as the texture but sadly no sparkle whatsoever. It does seem to have some sort of light reflective shimmer though, I think due to the texture so it does reflect some light back just not like the others in the collection do.This is a nice good-to-have-in-your-stash color but I sure wish it had the sparkle and glitter of the others. Now that I think about it, this was an $8 polish and I shouldn't have to settle or make it work, so I think I am just going to take it back. It just doesn't do for me what the others in the collection did. I am not happy with this purchase.
