I love this polish from the OPI Mariah Carey holiday 2013 collection. It's described as "blackened violet," but I find it to be a dark magenta/berry color with shimmer. It's simply beautiful; I have very fair cool-toned skin and this polish is extremely flattering (no lobster or ghost hands with it on).Application is extemely smooth and almost opaque in one coat, but I always use two, and dry time is very quick, as with all OPI polishes. Wear time varies on everyone, but with my Colorstay base coat I can get a week with no chips.I think I need a few backups; it's not very often that I find a color I like this much. Price is $9.00 a bottle; however, you can usually find coupons and deals at Ulta and JCP salon.

This is a medium berry-magenta with a nice, even shimmer and purple undertones, and it's got somewhat surprising depth of colour, with lots of colour complexity, including a subltle golden iridescence. Good formula, excellent application. I could probably have gotten away with one coat, but went for two. In some lighting, this looks more purpleish; in others, it looks more bright berry. Sometimes I think it takes on a distinctively wine colour.Such a pretty polish, though I'm not really sure how unique it is. I am positive I've worn polishes like this in the past, and I suspect there are a few polishes that could dupe (or closely enough) this one. I don't mean to talk anyone out of this, but if you already have any magenta-berry shimmers, you probably want to think carefully before you add this to your collection.

Cute Little Vixen is part of OPI's Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection and is a berry red shade, which has a strong violet undertone & a slight golden iridescence to the finish. This shade is perfect for me, as I don't feel confident in RED red shades, but still wanted a classic festive nail colour and it can also be worn for the rest of the year too.The formula for OPI is unrivalled; so smooth, streak and bubble free, fast to dry, and long lasting. This particular shade is almost a one coater on me, there are just a couple of patches that look a bit thin, so I do need a second coat for full opaqueness. So if you want to wear a sparkly topcoat for the party season, then just the one coat of this is enough for a base colour.
