Marooned On The Subway is from New York City Collection which most of the color has been discontinued except Big Apple Red. Marooned On The Subway is darker than Big Apple Red and has some cherry/hint of purple tone in the polish. The creme finish makes this color looks so gorgeous.The application is a breeze. May be I didn't file my nails properly and I can see some bubbles. But generally speaking, this is a beautiful color and I will definitely repurchase.

Thanks to a nailboarder I was able to get my hands on this lovely polish! Marooned on the Subway is a beautiful cool toned cherry red creme. Looks great on both my hands and feet, especially now during my paler months. I have 2 coats on with Creative Sticky Base and OPI Rapid Dry Top coat and so far no chips on my 1 week old pedicure. The color is a little bit lighter than it appears in the bottle but I only put on 2 coats, it does look deeper with 3 coats. I'm very happy to have this color in my collection and I hope that OPI rereleases this color or at least a lookalike!

Wearing this just now it's the only OPI polish I've ever tried that doesn't have a pearlescent finish, instead this is a glossy dark garnet red, and very pretty indeed. I've had it on two days however, and there are a few more chips than I would expect from the other pearly/metallic OPI polishes in my collection, so I wonder if that's to do with any difference in the formulation of the finish? Very similar to Clinique's "Ruby Delight", which I probably like very slightly better.

I got this in a swap i thought it would be more maroon. It's a bit too red for me since i don't really wear reds. but it's pretty.

Marooned on the Subway is my favorite red very few reds look good on my hands due to my Irish skintone this is my staple (unfortunately, it's been discontinued!). My next favorite is Chick Flick Cherry.
