Two coats and you get a pinkish milky translucent color with very fine purplish shimmers. So beautiful, girly and clean. I'm surprised no one has raved about this. This is very close to the actual colour of your nail bed but better, and healthy looking. Compared to Bubble Bath, which is a lighter, pinkish milky colour with cream finish. This is the very first opi nail polish i purchased, and i'm into my second bottle. And Opi is still my fav brand and brush. Update Oct 2012 just purchased my third bottle

A sheer opalescent cool pink that flashes blue/purple. Nice on its own (2 coats) or as a one coat topper to add a twist to a French mani. Looks great on my cool toned PPP skin. I love OPIs sheers.But it is, indeed, very sheer so you may not want this.

This is a pretty sheer color, but I love it! It's perfect to throw on when you dont have a lot of time, but it does add a sheer milky pink (with a hint of lilac) color that just looks pretty and put together. Hearts & Tarts is a very sheer color by OPI with a purple/pink sheen. It looks cool when you apply 2-3 coats over a base like Bubble Bath, but that is way too much product to use in my opinion. It's not very visible on bare nails, especially mine that are a bit darker to begin with. As another minus, I wore this stuff on a recent vacation. I'm not sure if it was the sun or the chlorine in the pool, but this color turned a nasty brown after a few days. Overall, I would not recommend this product and I will definitely NOT repurchase.

I really wanted to love this, but its a touch too sheer for my taste. I don't see any pink on my nail at all and I did 3 coats. Its a very polished and professional look for those in conservative offices or if you want a nice french mani shade. Just not for me :(
