Amazing polish! I got my nails painted this shade at the salon and fell in love with it so I decided to buy the bottle straight from the manicurist. There is a slight discrepancy between the bottle and the colour you actually end up with, but I'm loving it nonetheless. It's elegant, yet youthful-exactly what I find myself looking for in a pigmented product. It dried rather fast too, but that wasn't exactly a surprise from OPI! With regards to longevity, I have little to no input as I have just gotten it applied for the first time, but I've always had a good experience with this brand in that department. Another thing I like about this shade is the fact that, quite paradoxically maybe, it's neither a warm or a cold colour, most likely because of the whole ashy-eggplant tones it has to it-but then again I'm no colour expert. I do however find it looks fantastic when wearing either gold or silver hand jewelry (I wear a gold watch and a gold bracelet on my left hand and a white gold ring and thin bracelet on my right hand and both were beautifully highlighted by this particular shade)As much as I love dark polish, I was never a huge fan of plain black-I always stuck with very deep reds, dark purples, chocolate shades, etc, but I have a feeling this is shade is bound to become a go-to for me!

I had no idea this color was discontinued. In fact I found it tonight at CVS and snapped it up. I love the pink that seems to have a blue undertone. It's a sophisticated color but not old lady-ish like some berry colors can look. Will have to buy more online.

this is my first ever OPI polish, since I usually only buy Essie or Sally Hansen. but after hearing forever about how wonderful OPI polish is and how some people won't touch anything else, I decided to get one. I honestly don't know what the hype is about. for an $8 nail polish that everyone raves about, I expected something...better.it took three coats to mask the streaks, and when it dried the color was so flat and dull. it's supposed to be a dusky dark purple with taupe mixed in, but it just looked like poorly formulated black polish on my nails. after only a couple days, it's already starting to chip and wear away at the tips of my nails, and I don't do anything hard on my hands for this to happen. all in all, I've had better quality dark purples from cheaper brands, like N.Y.C.'s Plaza Plumberry. I'm not all that impressed by OPI, and I'll be sticking to Essie from now on

I LOVE this color. It is obviously dark but you can still tell that it isnt black. The color is dusty eggplant . I found the color in the bottle was the color I got on my nails. This is in my opi favorites pile for sure. Application took 2 coats for me. You can get away with one though. Formula goes on very smooth and streak free. I honestly dont see how anyone couldnt love this color! Its gorg!

Beautiful in the bottle way too dark on.Its an almost purple black and so its not that special from other similar colors. I bought it b/c I loved the color in the bottle which is unique a dark greyed purple.formula is great
